Border Campout

Our frontera community continues to be the target of the Trump Administration. For those of us who live here and call the border our home, we know that walls won't work and that it's up to us to stand up for our people, wildlife, culture and our communities.

On Saturday, Oct. 19, we will bring together community members, raza de la frontera, advocates, border residents young and old, families, wildlife biologists, and more to share space in the New Mexico Bootheel on the U.S.-Mexico Border to share stories, to be in community, laugh, enjoy good food, and share our stories around a campfire.

The Animas Valley and the New Mexico' Bootheel represent one of the wildest places in North America, rich in history, cultura, wildlife, and so much more. It's one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse places along the U.S.-Mexico border and we invite you to experience it with us and to help us find ways to stop the very real threat of the Border Wall.

This campout is for everyone -- our gente from Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona will attend to build power, share our stories and strategize around solutions to stop the wall.

Whether you're an expert camper or new to camping, we've got you covered and this campout is FOR YOU!
