Stopping the border wall
In solidarity with border communities, we fight back
The president’s campaign to build a border wall between the United States and Mexico threatens to extinguish the rich bi-national cultural history of the US-Mexico border, along with our border culture and much of the wildlife that calls the border home.
Mexico is our neighbor and we honor the culture and people that have been here long before the drawing of the US-Mexico boundaries. A border wall would do irreparable damage to Chihuahuan and Sonoran desert and Rio Grande Valley ecosystems and wildlife habitat.
Together with our immigration advocacy, faith communities, and conservation partners, we have come together to fight the wall in southern New Mexico. We will continue to educate the public and advocate against this destructive action.
