No matter the political landscape, Nuestra Tierra Conservation Project remains steadfast in our mission to ensure equitable access to public lands and waters. Historically, systemic injustices have shaped land management policies, creating barriers for many communities. Our commitment to transparent and inclusive collaboration honors local expertise and strives to build a diverse, inclusive outdoor space for all.
In the recent election, Doña Ana County saw a significant increase in early voting turnout, with 40,708 early ballots cast as of October 31, 2024—a powerful reflection of growing civic engagement. We are proud to have contributed to this participation through our ¡Juntos por Doña Ana! Día de los Muertos fiesta, fostering community involvement. Our work does not stop here; we will continue to advocate for policies that promote inclusivity and justice in land management.
